Though support for the game seemed to be in the pipeline for at least the rest of the year alongside console versions of the game on PS4 and Xbox One, it appears those plans are coming to an abrupt end from The Walking Dead IP holder Skybound Entertainment. After several years in development by Overkill Software and being published by Starbreeze Studios, the long-awaited Overkill's The Walking Dead released last November to middling reception from both critics and players.
